Euno Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

In one sentence: the videos and photos you create stay on your device by default. Euno collects limited device, session, and diagnostic information to deliver configuration and improve stability. We do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-app or cross-website tracking.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the Euno application for iOS (“Euno”, “we”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information, and the rights you have. Please read it before using the App.

2. Permissions and Features

Euno requests system permissions only when the related feature is actually used, and every system prompt states the purpose:

PermissionFeatureInformation involvedIf denied
CameraDual-camera preview and recordingCamera frames, processed on-device onlyCapture features unavailable
MicrophoneAmbient audio trackAudio, processed on-device onlyRecording works without sound
Photos (add)Saving exportsNo additional collectionExports cannot be saved to Photos
Photos (read)Browsing and importing clips for editingPhotos and videos within the access level you grant (full or limited); thumbnails and selected media are processed on-deviceImport for editing unavailable
Location (while in use)Optional place or coordinate text in watermarksForeground location coordinates are used to create the selected watermark. Euno may use Apple’s system geocoding service to obtain a place name; the resulting place or coordinates can be written into media you choose to saveWatermarks without location text

3. Your Media Stays on Your Device by Default

Recording, composing, editing, and rendering happen on your device. Finished clips are saved to your photo library or the App sandbox only when you choose to save. Euno does not upload or scan your media for its own service. If you use an iOS share, export, backup, or other system action, the destination and handling are controlled by that action and its provider.

4. Device and Environment Information

At startup, Euno sends an encrypted configuration request. The request can include the device model, identifier for vendor (IDFV), system version, app version and build, language, locale or region, time zone, and a session or request identifier. These fields are used to deliver configuration, establish a session, protect the service, and prevent abuse. They are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Crash and Diagnostic Data

Euno integrates Firebase Crashlytics. Depending on the device and operating system, diagnostics can include crash stacks, device model, operating system version, app version and build, memory summaries, and counts or summaries of crashes, hangs, CPU exceptions, and disk-write exceptions. These diagnostics are used to find and fix stability problems. They do not include the photo, video, or audio content that you create. Firebase processes this information on our behalf under the Firebase privacy terms and Google Privacy Policy.

6. Location Information

Location is used only for the optional watermark feature. Euno requests location while in use, keeps the coordinate and place details in memory while preparing the watermark, and can render either a place name or coordinates according to your selected format. Reverse geocoding is requested through Apple’s system geocoding service, so Apple may process the coordinate to return a place name under Apple’s terms. Euno does not send location to its own configuration or diagnostics service. The feature stops when you disable the permission or system location services.

7. Third-Party SDKs

The App contains no advertising SDKs and does not use diagnostic data for profiling or advertising. Other libraries used for local editing or network transport do not independently collect data for Euno.

8. Data Storage

  1. Media and watermark output: saved media is retained in the Photos library or App sandbox until you delete it, clear the App data, or uninstall the App. Euno does not retain a server copy of your media.
  2. Configuration and session information: the device and session fields in Section 4 are retained only for configuration delivery, session operation, security, and abuse prevention, then deleted or anonymized under the service’s operational retention schedule. They are not retained for advertising.
  3. Diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics and MetricKit diagnostic records are retained only as long as needed to investigate and improve stability, then deleted or anonymized under the applicable Firebase and service retention controls.
  4. Support requests: messages sent to the contact address are retained only while handling the request and for the limited period needed for security, legal, and support follow-up.

9. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information with service providers only when needed for the purposes described here: Google/Firebase processes crash and diagnostic data, Apple may process a coordinate for reverse geocoding, and infrastructure providers may process encrypted configuration or session requests. These providers must protect the information under their applicable privacy terms and our service arrangements. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.

10. Your Rights

  1. Access and correction: your media lives in your photo library and on your device; you can access and manage it directly.
  2. Deletion: delete items in Photos, clear or uninstall the App to remove local data, and contact us using Section 13 to request deletion of service-side configuration, session, diagnostic, or support records associated with your request. We will verify the request, delete or anonymize information that we are not required to retain, and explain any legal or security exception.
  3. Withdraw consent: turn off Camera, Microphone, Photos, or Location in iOS Settings. You may also request that service-side configuration and diagnostic collection be stopped by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed before the request.

11. Minors

Euno is designed for general creation audiences. It does not direct features to minors under 17 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If a guardian becomes aware of such a case, contact us under Section 13 and we will delete the relevant data promptly.
